If you know anything about me, you know I LOVE online/social media surveys and "get to know you" stuff, like "X likes = X facts about me" kind of stuff. It's probably ego causing me to enjoy talking so much about myself, but when I get to do it in a geek context, how can I resist?
The thing is, stuff like the above survey gets posted on Twitter and is designed for Twitter, but I never get enough likes to do the whole thing. Is that a sad commentary on my life? NAY! Just means people on Twitter have WAY better things to do.
So, survey. I am enamored of World of Warcraft. I've been a Warcraft fan WAY back since Warcraft 2, the first game I ever played online (spoiler: I am AWFUL at strategy games like Warcraft 2). When my friend Jeff got me playing World of Warcraft in its early days (Vanilla and Burning Crusade) I was addicted. Real life hit, and I wasn't able to play for more than a decade. Then I got back into it for about two years in the Battle for Azeroth days (though PC limitations only let me play up through Legion).

Greyfog, my main character, as I logged out for the last time.
But I've read nearly all the novels and follow the story and lore avidly. So when someone posted this Warcraft survey, how could I resist? So here we go!
First, a key to my OCs (original characters):
Greyfog is my main, a Human Hunter. Dobrin is a Dwarven Shaman, Corynn is a Human Paladin, and Valnara is a Blood Elf Rogue.

1) If I, Steve, were a citizen of Azeroth, I'd most likely choose the path of a Paladin, Priest or Shaman. I consider myself very religious and like helping people and trying to help them get through tough times, hence the Paladin or Priest. I also like the outdoors a LOT, and am super interested in the idea of elemental magic, hence the Shaman.
2) If I got to pick the next WoW Allied Race, with zero doubt I'd choose the Tuskarr. I fell in love with the Tuskarr from the first moment I met them in Northrend. They are so jovial and pleasant and kind and peaceful - I just wanna hug'em all the time.
3) Falstad Wildhammer (Wildhammer fanboy), Jorach Ravenholdt (Ravenholdt fanboy since I mained a Rogue in Vanilla/BC), Alexstrasza (have a big crush on the Red Dragonqueen), Alleria Windrunner (again, massive crush), and Baine Bloodhoof (Tauren are the best Horde race, don't @ me). I'd also sneak in Thunk the Peon because he's the Titans' greatest gift to Azeroth.
4) Song of the Lonely Mountain (from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) - reminds me of the Hinterlands, my favorite zone, and Dobrin (a Wildhammer in headcanon) and Greyfog (spent much of his youth in the Hinterlands).

I would move into Aerie Peak if I could. And I'm afraid of heights!
5) Azeroth - Hinterlands or Mulgore, Outland - Nagrand, Northrend - Howling Fjord, Pandaria - Valley of the Four Winds, Broken Isles - Highmountain
6) My OC crew would do well in an escape room. Greyfog is observant, Dobrin is clever, Corynn is patient, and Valnara is crafty.
7) I'd go with giving an overview of Azeroth's history, touching on major events and characters. If I had to be specific, I'd probably choose the Third War/Scourge Invasion.
8) The Prophet Velen.
9) Dalaran is a mix of bakery/confectionary smells, sweet floral scents, and fresh linen.
10) Mulgore spice bread. I'm a sucker for baked goods.
11) It's probably Dobrin or Corynn; they're the most deliberate in their actions, aware of others, and willing to help others.
12) One question for Blizz writers: I'd want to know how far in advance they know major lore reveals that we've had breadcrumbs of for a long time. Examples: Tirisfal history, Sylvanas' plans with the Jailer. OR WHY THE HECK THEY TOOK SO LONG TO GIVE US KUL TIRAS.

I haven't gotten to visit Kul Tiras yet but so help me I will before I die.
13) Dobrin is a great singer. He's got a scrawly scratchy and deep voice, but decades of singing Dwarven tunes by campfires have honed his intonation. Valnara has a sweet alto voice but doesn't sing often. Greyfog avoids singing (can't carry a tune) but has an ear for rhythm. Corynn isn't awful, but she's no bard.
14) Jorach Ravenholdt is less concerned about personal profit and power and is more noble in his pursuits. He cares deeply about the health and safety of the Alliance and Horde respectively and would like to see each get along in an honorable peace. Also, he'd be played by Christopher Plummer in a movie.
15) Dog pets need more breed options. I WANT A BEAGLE, DANG IT!
16) Through a glitch in the Caverns of Time and the Great Dark Beyond, a party of Azeroth adventurers find themselves on a strange world and are caught up in a battle between practitioners of an unusual and invisible magic they call "the Force," and who wield swords of fire called "lightsabers." (In Star Wars time, this is in the very early days of the Jedi and Sith).
17) Elder Atuik of the Kalu'ak. I want the tuskarr to be integral in solving some great mystery or threat about Azeroth.
18) Going through the Dark Portal for the very first time (2018).
19) “Simple' does not mean 'easy'. I have learned that the things that seem the simplest are often the most powerful of all.” - Thrall (Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects by Christie Golden)
20) Green dragonflight. It's my favorite color, and Ysera is amazing.
